Platforms
Drive a danfo, a korope, a cab, a shuttle or a keke through Lagos, Ibadan, Abuja, Port Harcourt and Osogbo. Pikins wait at the bus stops: stop with the whole bus inside the yellow box, take their fares and make the change from your bag of notes, then get each one to their stop. Okadas swerve, kekes cut in, lorries hog the lane and goats wander. Smooth driving, clean stops and the right change keep the bus happy; a vexed passenger jumps off with half the fare. Your score is what’s in the bag at the end. Every vehicle look is invented, with no real company liveries or brands, and some passengers are real Arena54 game makers from each city. It plays in the Arena54 Arcade and inside city apps like Ibadan Life and Osogbo Life.
Drive
The bus speeds up on its own. Okadas (a yellow arrow means one is about to swerve), kekes, lorries, potholes, cones and the odd goat each cost a dent. Three dents end the shift.
Stop in the box
Pikins wait in the kerb lane on the right. Stop with the whole bus inside the yellow box. Close to the white line is a clean stop, and that earns a tip.
Make change
Passengers pay with ₦100, ₦200, ₦500 or ₦1,000 notes. Tap notes from your bag to give exact change. No right notes? Promise “pay later”, or give gala or pure water instead.
Drop off
Stop at each passenger’s stop. Drive past it and they take their whole fare back. Overshot a little? Hold Brake to back up into the box, if nothing is close behind you.
Keep the bus happy
Smooth driving, clean stops, correct change, snacks and the radio cheer passengers up. A vexed passenger jumps off at the next stop with half the fare.
Count your takings
Your score is what’s in the bag at the end, minus the ₦700 float you started with. Careful driving earns more than reckless driving.
